White Composite Fillings

Composites are "tooth colored" fillings, an alternative to the Amalgam, or "silver fillings." They are aesthetically pleasing since you usually cannot tell your tooth has a filling because it matches so well. There are pro's and con's with composite fillings as normally, they do not last as long as the amalgam fillings. Composite fillings are "bonded" and light cured into the tooth. You can immediately eat or drink right after this type of filling since it is light cured.
